Rules for our project weeks in Lithuania
1. travels and groups
- Prerequisite for an expedition week is a non-terminated membership in the association BSNHPA e.V. You can find the membership application on our website www.bsnhpa.org.
- A week group must consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 7 divers.
- An expedition week is from Saturday (arrival) to the following Saturday (departure).
- Diving days are Sunday-Friday with 2 dives planned.
- Usually 2x 3 consecutive diving weeks are offered.
2. non-diving days
The Baltic Sea can be very calm but also very rough. Due to the design of the NZ55 and the safety of the divers, we will not go out in a swell higher than 60 cm. The decision is made only by the captain. As these situations are due to nature, no refund will be paid for them.
3. overnight stay & catering
Each expedition participant is responsible for his own overnight stay. On request there is the possibility to stay overnight on the NZ55. If necessary, costs have to be clarified with the captain. On board there is a small galley where you can prepare breakfast or a snack. It is basically self-catering. The NZ55 docks again in the harbor every afternoon. So you can easily go out for dinner in the evening.
4. gases
Oxygen and air fillings are included in the price. Any instructions of the filling master must be followed!
For helium everybody has to take care by himself. It is too expensive in Lithuania.
5. costs and refunds
One expedition week costs 1.300 EUR. Each participant has to take care of the arrival and departure by himself. Non-diving guests pay 100 € per day on the boat.
Payment
At the time of booking the expedition price (1.300 EUR) has to be paid in full to the account of BSNHPA e.V.. Only when the amount is available on the account, the week is considered booked. The latest date for booking / payment is 8 weeks before the start of the expedition.

5.1 Refunds
No-show
In case of non-arrival or cancellation 6 weeks or more before the expedition, no refund can be paid, because the ship is booked.
Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the expedition
In case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start of the expedition, 50% of the expedition price (650 €) will be refunded. The refund will be made until 6 weeks after the expedition week.
Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start of the expedition week
In case of cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start of the expedition week, the full price (1.300 €) will be refunded within 14 days.
5.2 Cancellation of the expedition week by BSNHPA e.V.
If not enough divers register for an expedition week, if the boat is cancelled, or if there are other reasons for BSNHPA e.V. to cancel the expedition week, the full price (1.300 €) will be refunded within 14 days.
6. arrival and departure
Participants must organize their own arrival and departure. We recommend the DFDS ferry from Kiel. The ferry leaves Kiel on Friday evening and arrives in Kiel on Saturday afternoon. From Klaipeda the ferry leaves Klaipeda on Saturday evening and arrives in Kiel late Sunday afternoon.
7. insurances
Each diver must have appropriate insurance coverage for a diving expedition. Damages to his equipment, which occur during the expedition, cannot be claimed against BSNHPA e.V. in any way.
